How the move-out comparison works
Start the move-out from the move-in inspection, and every item shows its move-in rating and notes next to the new ones. The report lists everything rated worse than at move-in, so the landlord and the tenant talk about the deposit from the same record.
Keep your records
Inspections are stored in this browser on this device, and nowhere else. Clearing your browsing data deletes them. For every inspection you need to keep, download the PDF and save a backup file, and send the signed PDF to everyone who signed it.
Before you rely on it
Some provinces and states have their own inspection form, or rules about when an inspection happens and who has to be there. Check your local rules. The report records a rental's condition. It isn't legal advice.
Why it's free
QuickCasa built this for landlords and renters and released it as free software under the GNU Affero General Public License. Anyone can read the code to check that photos stay on the device, and anyone who runs a changed copy for other people has to share their changes.
